6 Ways to Feel Sexier…Right Now

It’s easier than you think!

Think it’s hard to feel like a sex kitten when you’re running errands with baby spew on your shirt? Think again! Dr. Jane Greer, a marriage and family therapist in New York City and host of the radio show Doctor On Call, has 6 easy tips to help you feel sexually desirable anytime, fast. Me-ow!

Practice a little self-maintenance. “Shave your legs and armpits, get a haircut or manicure, lift weights, take a walk,” suggests Greer. “All of those acts will help you feel good about–and focus on–your body, which in turn will make you feel sexy.”

Wear something seductive. “Sexy lingerie–whether it be a bra, panties, or nightgown–is an obvious choice,” Greer says. “Less obvious? An item of clothing you know he loves you in.”

Apply a sexy scent. “You can use perfume to create an erotic ’scent memory’,” says Greer. “You might even want to buy an entirely new perfume for just that purpose–so that when you and he smell it, you both instantly think about sex. Put a few drops on your erogenous zones–behind your ears, on your neck, behind your knees–and ask him to take a whiff. It’s a sexy shorthand that tells him you’re in the mood.”
Fantasize for a few minutes. “Think back to the last time you had sex, or think forward to the sex you’re going to have tonight,” says Greer. “Either way, you’ll become aroused and feel sexy.”

Listen to sexy music. “Put on something slow and romantic, or any song that makes you think about sex,” Greer suggests. “The Donna Summer song ‘Love to Love You Baby’ is one good choice. The music will put erotic thoughts in your head.”

Write him a sexy note. “Send a playful, seductive text or e-mail to your man,” advises Greer. “Doing that will build anticipation and basically begin foreplay. It gets a sexy conversation going between the two of you, and that connection is what romance is all about.”
