‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ Add Wedding Vows To Their Real-Life Script

Brangelina, the moniker of long time loves Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have made their commitment official. The couple announced their engagement this week, after 7 years and 6 children together- and countless tabloid covers. Though Brangelina once stated they would not legally wed until all gay and lesbian couples could as well, they’ve spoken to the press about how their children have recently begun asking for their parents to marry. Angelina’s jeweler was the first to trumpet the news, to international coverage, with the couple confirming their engagement soon after.

 

For the A list couple, an upcoming wedding marks the final test of commitment, which reportedly began when Brad was still married to ex wife Jennifer Anistion. After years of breathless chatter over exactly when Brangelina’s relationship became romantic, and if Angelina truly was more than just a costar during filming for ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith,’ an engagement marks the solidification of their devotion. And for their six children, this also brings closure and permanence- though not likely a rest from a lifetime of tabloid reports.

News their plans to tie the knot, after brand-new speculation arose when Jolie was spotted wearing a dazzling new diamond ring. Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005, after which he and his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar joined forces to become the most talked about couple in Hollywood.
