Prince Harry the Homewrecker, When Is It Flirting?

By Dr. Jane Greer

Celebrity stars shine so bright and we look up to them.  Yet often we are puzzled when they fall, so Shrink Wrap is here to shed light on all.

Recently, the photogs have caught Duchess Kate Middleton and her brother-in-law Prince Harry exchanging “flirty” glances.  The shots were snapped during the jubilee celebration in honor of Her Majesty the Queen, in London.  Standing with the royal family on that most famous balcony, Kate and Harry swapped what appeared to be secretive smiles and a close laugh while William had his head turned.   Harry has a reputation for being a bit of a ladies man, but this seems out of character for the ever-composed Duchess.

It’s unimaginable that things are anything but strictly plutonic between Harry and Kate, and  that this alleged flirtation is of course a tabloid concoction. Yet it raises an issue that many non-royals have experienced in their own relationships: what to do if your partner is a flirt?  Flirting can certainly raise eyebrows, like it did when Brad and Angelina first started their behind-the-scenes courtship behind Jennifer Aniston’s back.  But then there are guys like Super Dad Ben Affleck. A devoted, and these days subdued, husband who can’t help but make the ladies swoon every now and then.  So the question remains, when does flirting cross the line?
